Yamapi stared at Ryo straight in the eye, still in complete silence. Ryo waited for Yamapi to say something; anything. To say that he was joking, to say that he wasn't serious, to tease him for taking things too seriously and gently hit him on the shoulder so both of them will laugh it off and become friends just like before. But Yamapi didn't say anything. He was dead serious. Ryo didn't say anything; he couldn't say anything. He didn't know what to say or how to react!
"Oh gosh, Ryo. Say something! ANYTHING!"
Yamapi thought, an expression of worry flashed across his face.
After what seemed like forever, Yamapi finally gave in.
"...I know, Ryo-chan, you must be disgusted at me now right?! I know you are straight but i can't take it anymore! This feeling is crushing me and I thought i can live with it, live without ever telling you. I tried but, i just can't! I..."
Before Yamapi could finish, he felt someone else's warmth on his face. It was none other then Ryo himself. Yamapi's eyes widen. He never imagined Ryo to kiss him. Not the slightest bit. Ryo pulled away and looked at Yamapi straight in the eye and looked away seconds later, after realising what he has done.
"Are you calmed down now?" He said, still looking down.
"Ryo-chan...you..." Yamapi was shocked.
"You, don't think that just because you are the leader, you can do or say anything you want!" Ryo said suddenly. Yamapi looked at his friend, eyes filled with curiosity and worry. He kept quiet and waited for Ryo to continue saying.
"Why...Why must you say it to me first! I knew i should've said it to you when i've got the chance."
"...Huh?!"
"Don't play dumb. You know how I love you all this time!"
Yamapi was dumbfounded, for God know's how many times.
"Ryo, actually LOVES me..." Yamapi thought and smiled.
"What are you smiling for?" Ryo asked and raised an eyebrow.
"...you said you love me..." Yamapi said. Ryo thought for awhile, thinking back what he had just said.
"...oh yeah i did..." Ryo said, blushing at the thought of what he just said. Yamapi smiled and gave Ryo a tight hug, still careful not to knock onto the porridge bowl.
"You have NO idea how happy i am right now..."
Yamapi whispered into Ryo's ear and they both smiled and enjoyed the just being with each other.

The next day came. Yamapi and Ryo had intended to go to the company together but Ryo had been called to the company earlier by his manager so Yamapi went alone. He stepped into the company with a huge smile on his face, still thinking about what happened at home just yesterday. From time to time, Yamapi would sigh and think about how fortunate he is.
Just as he stepped outside the lift to NEWS' dressing room, he heard voices. More like someone screaming at another. Yamapi walked out of the lift, cautiously making sure that he is not making any noises. It was Johnny-san.
"How could you do this kind of thing?!"
Yamapi heard him say.
"Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki! You 2, are considered SENIORS around here. WHAT were you 2 THINKING?!"
Johnny-san was furious.
Yamapi sneaked up behind one side of the wall at the lift and hid himself there. One, he couldn't possibly walk out and into his dressing room, It'll be too awkward,especially if Johnny-san is giving his 2 seniors a scolding. Two, deep down inside, Yamapi just wants to know what all of this is about!
All this while, his seniors Aiba and Sho kept quiet, taking in all of Johnny-san's foreign curses and scolding, trying not to laugh and on the other hand, they just couldn't say anything. The rest of the members from Arashi didn't seem to be there and only Johnny-san could be heard.
"Sho, Aiba, I do not know who or what did this. Neither do I care. You 2 better clean this up. I don't care whether or not it is true. Don't you 2 DARE ruin the good name I've built my company to be. You ought to know. I can bring you 2 to where you are today and i can easily take it back. "
Johnny-san said and left. Yamapi heard Johnny-san's footsteps and quickly ran into the lift and pretended to walk out again.
"Johnny-san! Ohaiyo-gozaimasu!!" Yamapi bowed and pretended that he was going to work as per normal. Johnny-san didn't mutter a word and simply nodded his head before he left. Aiba and Sho had already gone into the room and when Yamapi turned to look, the door of their dressing room just closed. Yamapi didn't want to bother his seniors so he left for NEWS' room.
Just as he turned around, he saw a shirt, or part of a shirt move into the dressing room. Someone else was eavesdropping too, and he had a clear idea of who it was.
Yamapi entered the room and greeted everyone with a smile. As usual, their briefings for both their activities for the day, usual naggings from their managers and off they all go, each to their solo.
Yamapi and Ryo were again, the last to leave. Both of them were waiting for their manager's message to leave the dressing room. Their managers had gone ahead to prepare for their vans.
"It was you wasn't it?" Yamapi said,
"me? what?"
"You. You heard Johnny-san right?"
"..."
Ryo didn't reply. He just nodded his head. Yamapi didn't say anything after that.
"I heard they got into trouble. something to do with their fans." Ryo began.
"With their fans?"
"...And with the media." Yamapi listened without saying anything.
" This morning, Sho-kun and Aiba-kun were featured. Front page, Huge headlines."
Ryo said and reached over to his bag and grabbed the newspaper sticking out of it. He handed it to Yamapi and true enough, their seniors were on the headlines alright.
"Johnny's Idol group ARASHI. Too much member ai."
Yamapi read aloud. Ryo nudged him to flip to the next page. He's jaw literally dropped.
It was a picture of Sho and Aiba kissing and even though it's not clearly written, It was obviously taken by a fan. The hints were too obvious; " XXX NEWSPAPER received an anonymous picture... "
As Yamapi continued reading, his worry grew and when he was done, he looked at Ryo.
"What is this!? How could they...?!" Yamapi said, furious.
"Well...It's not entirely false is it?"
Yamapi couldn't reply. One hand, he was sad that his seniors have been caught in this troublesome matter, and on the other hand, he was worried. What if Ryo and him, ended up like his seniors? He looked at Ryo and Ryo could tell straight away, what was bothering him.
"You're afraid that we'll end up like them aren't you?"
Yamapi nodded in silence. Ryo moved closer to Yamapi,held his hands and pulled him to a hug.
"Don't worry...i wont let that happen..."
